  1. In order to be successful in this course you must exhibit certain behaviors. This course mainly requires you to be disciplined. Every week you need to remember to do your assignments and try not to leave it until the day it is due every week as I have done. Another behavior you need to develop would be the ability to think differently to set you apart as an entrepreneur. This allows you to have creative answers, good ideas about business opportunities, and how to act on your ideas.
  2. I can not speak about this portion as I have not developed a tenacious attitude towards course work for this entrepreneurship course. For the pitch video assignment, I read it and then decided it was too much work to get done in the short time I had left to get it done. This is why I can not speak about this.
  3. Three tips to take this course:

Leave time to generate ideas before completing the assignment

Stay disciplined on watching lectures and doing assignments

Develop a tenacious mindset anyway you think you can for this course

  1. Matt,

Thanks for your post and your honesty about the course. I've found it hard to keep up on the course work at times and questioned my work performance. One thing you brought up about thinking differently is something I think we have both learned from the course work. It's amazing to look at things from different angles, specifically the customer's, or the people with the problem, and see how much different it is from the initial solution. Adaptation contributes to the tenacious mindset I believe.

    Thanks again.

  2. In my halfway reflection, I also brought up the importance of starting assignments before the day they are due. In addition, I think this is the key to being successful in this class. This is because many of the assignments are not difficult, but they can be time consuming. Personally, I think it is good that you are able to recognize that you have waited too long to complete assignments, which has impacted your success in the class.

  4. Matt, I enjoyed reading your post and I think your three tips can be very beneficial to students that take this course in the future. Also, I appreciated your honesty when describing how you found yourself not being very tenacious for one of the assignments. This was relatable to me because sometimes it can be difficult to put all of your effort into an assignment when other classes bog you down.
